Sisters, Parents, Alumnae and Prospective New Members,
Welcome to the homepage of Alpha Phi’s Iota Lambda chapter at the University of Connecticut! Alpha Phi is a truly unique collection of women, with over 100 collegiate members from all over the country. Each morning as I step out onto the beautiful Storrs campus, I am reminded that my sisters are supportive of all of my endeavors. Whether it is a quick “hello” on Fairfield way or a lunch date at the Student Union, my sisters have a strong presence on campus and are enthusiastic to know what is going on in my life. This support and comradeship which has formed between members is why Alpha Phi has become so important to me.
I am truly blessed to be surrounded by women who are passionate, genuine, and who have become my best friends. I couldn’t imagine my college years without Alpha Phi. It has encouraged me to be the best version of myself, and I have come into my own with the support of my sisters. My pride, fidelity and respect for this organization are what led me to serve in the role of President, but it is the loyalty and encouragement of my sisters that have inspired me to lead this chapter into another successful semester. The women of this chapter are truly my heart and soul and serving as President has been the most rewarding experience of my college career. Knowing that I can contribute to strengthening the bonds between remarkable people is what encourages me to continue working hard in an effort to improve our sorority in the areas of sisterhood, social life, philanthropy, scholarship and service.
